Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the StratLab application (the "Service"), provided by SDG Strategy LLC ("StratLab," "we," "us," or "our"). By signing in to or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization, and "you" refers to both you and it.

The Service

StratLab helps a business document how it actually works, decide where AI can help, and carry that decision through to a plan and a roadmap. Some parts of the Service use AI — including third-party AI providers — to summarize, propose, or draft content based on what you and your organization enter.

Accounts

You need an account to use most of the Service. Sign-in is handled by our authentication provider, Clerk, including an option to sign in with Google. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account, and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that infringes someone else's rights;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, another organization's data, or the systems it runs on;
• interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service;
• use the Service's AI features to generate content that is unlawful, harassing, or that you know to be false and intend to pass off as factual; or
• reverse engineer the Service except where applicable law gives you the right to do so.

Your content

You and your organization retain ownership of the content you put into the Service — your workflow descriptions, assessment answers, strategy documents, interview transcripts, and similar material ("Your Content"). You grant us a license to host, store, process, and transmit Your Content solely to provide and maintain the Service, including sending it to AI providers where you use a feature that does so. We do not use Your Content to train our own or a third party's general-purpose AI models.

You are responsible for having the right to submit Your Content, including any information about other people it contains (for example, a colleague named in a workflow description or interview).

AI-generated content

Content produced by the Service's AI features — brainstormed opportunities, proposed clusters, drafted roadmaps, extracted workflow steps, and similar output — is generated automatically and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuited to your situation. It is a starting point for your own judgment, not a substitute for it, and you should review it before relying on it for a real business decision.

Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers, including Clerk (authentication), Anthropic (AI processing), Cloudflare (hosting), and, if you choose to sign in that way, Google. Your use of those sign-in and processing methods is also subject to those providers' own terms.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and the ASCEND method it implements, is owned by SDG Strategy LLC and protected by intellectual property law. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our name, branding, or the ASCEND method outside of using the Service itself.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time. If your organization's arrangement with us ends, we will handle Your Content as described in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service, or any AI-generated output it produces, will be accurate, complete, or uninterrupted.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SDG Strategy LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising from your use of the Service, including reliance on any AI-generated content it produces.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
